The East Williston/Roslyn Community Coalition for Drug-Free Youth has a simple but formidable goal: to reduce significantly the amount of alcohol and drug use among our children. Our purpose has been to educate, inform, and raise awareness in the East Williston and Roslyn communities to teenage drug and alcohol use and other aspects of at-risk behavior among our children and youth. Nassau District Attorney's NOT MY CHILD
JOIN EWRCC, parents and educators on Tuesday, February 2nd at 7:30 pm at the Roslyn High School for a riveting presentation designed to teach about the signs of Heroin addiction and ways to try and combat the problem. Not My Child features Kristen M. Fexas, Deputy Bureau Chief of the Street Narcotics and Gang Bureau in the Nassau County District Attorney's Office, discussing this growing epidemic of substance abuse that is killing our teens. LOL as we discuss their multitasking, 24/7 connection, drug preferences and other topics near and dear to their young hearts, with strategies and observations to help us get to know and engage this fascinating group of people.
